🔗 Share a public link

Share a public link

Turn a supported public folder or file into a sealed Secure Info code — with a deadline and a short import window. The real path stays hidden from whoever you send it to.

How to share

  1. Copy a public link

Grab a share link from a supported service — an Fshare folder, a public Google Drive folder, Dropbox, Box, or any direct media URL.

  2. Open the Secure Share Maker

Pick the matching provider and paste your link into the URL field.

  3. Set the expiry

Choose how long the link should keep working on the phone — an hour, a day, a week. After that the tile stops opening.

  4. Set the valid time

Choose the short window in which the code can be imported. Keep it small so a code left lying around can’t be used later.

  5. Make it & send it

Tap “Make Secure Share Info”, copy the code, and send it. The recipient pastes it in OpenHub → Add Folder → Secure Info.

Two clocks, two jobs

Expiry
How long the shared link keeps working on the phone. Once it passes, the tile won’t open — and its path was never revealed.
Valid time
How long the code itself stays importable after you make it. Short by design, so a code left in a chat or note can’t be redeemed later.

Works with

Fshare Google Drive Dropbox Box pCloud Mega Yandex Disk Internet Archive

Any public link from a supported service — no login shared, nothing exposed.

Why bother?

The person you send it to only ever sees the name you give it — never the real folder path. Pair that with a short expiry to share something for, say, one day only.

🔑 Open the Secure Share Maker →

Build the code there, then share it. Everything is sealed in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
